Full Description

SK 298 603 Tram Shelter built circa 1893, an attractive small wooden building with a slate roof surmounted by a clock. A relic of the Matlock Cable Tramway. Now (1987) used as a park shelter. (1, 2) Re-located from Crown Square to Hall Leys Park (1997), from the former cable tramway which ran from Crown Square to Matlock Bank. (3)
