Full Description

'Cup & Ring Stone' is marked at approx. SK 22407932 on late 19th and early 20th century OS maps. However, when the site was visited by the OS Field Inspector in 1965, no trace of the stone was seen and it was noted that there was a small quarry at the published site. (1) Ordnance Survey maps mark the site of a cup and ring carving. However, no details appear to have been documented. (3)
