Full Description

Thin-butted polished stone axe found by Mr. C. Daniel Eyam. Examined 1956 , Length 134mm, Butt, 49mm (1) Found in the middle of the field between and at the junction of the road to Nether Bretton and the Sir William road, 1/2 mile E.S.E. of Bretton. (2) The axe in is the possession of Mr. Daniel who indicated the approximate find spot at SK 20827776. (3)
