Full Description

Neolithic Greenstone axe fragment and flint flake were found in a rake adjoining Cavendish Mill, Thunderpit Lane by C. Daniel in 1969. In the same year Mr. Daniel also found a Neolithic flint axe in Burnt Heath Rake, which may also be the rake referred to above. All artefacts were retained by Mr. Daniel. (1,2).
