Full Description

Finds made by J. Henderson and Mrs. Marlow under a gritstone boulder in 1960 during the landscaping of the garden at the 'Little Spinney'. The exact location was not recorded and the area has since been destroyed. The finds have been classed as palaeolithic but C. R. Hart has suggested that they are in fact later in date, probably Neolithic to Bronze Age. The finds constitute part of the Henderson colection housed in Sheffield City Museum. Photographic record.
