Full Description

The remains of a possible cairn are at SK 278 799. It is oval, c. 26m x 20m, and may have been quarried. (1) An oval cairn with exposed upright stones has been identified in in the Hunter Archaeological Society index by T. Walsh. It is considered by J. Barnatt to be either natural or quarry waste. (2)
