Full Description

[Area SK 258 711]. The Pre-Conquest township of Langeleie or Langley as it would now be called, presumably stood where the meadow of that name was in 1617, immediately east of the present Kitchen Garden. (1) Open parkland; there are no indications of habitation. (2) The name was marked on Senior's map of 1617. (3)
