SK 006 896: Ringstone, Stone Axe: In 1901 it was reported that a fine stone axe had been found - with a large stone chair (cross base: SMR 10702) - in cutting a trench on Abner Froggat's Farm, Ringstones, Rowarth. No surviving evidence. (1-2) There is no local information regarding the axe. (2)
