Full Description
[SK 20059 80442, SK 20068 80432] Tumuli [N.R.] (1)
One of two barrows c. 180m NW of stone circle [SMR 9] on Smelting Hill
Flint scraper found 2 yds from one of the barrows by Mr A Millar(3) (SMR 10)
Tumuli resurveyed at 1/2500 at SK 20067 80450, No information regarding the scraper. (4)
The barrow is of dimensions Diameter 6.1m and Height 0.3m (5)
The new position of this cairn removes it from the vicinity of its so-called pair 'smr 14' and I would query the given NGR (TSB 01/00)
