Full Description

SK 24978311. Stanage Edge. Settlement? Circular enclosure and three rectilinear plots, outlying oval hut. (1) The area indicated for this settlement is on a north facing slope which is strewn with enormous outcrops of rock and huge boulders set in boggy peat. There is no trace of any of the features suggested by Welsh and it seems a most unlikely location. (2)
