Full Description

Repairs to the Market Cross at Repton are recorded more than once during the seventeenth century. The shaft was replaced in 1806. (1) A medieval cross with a flight of seven steps of octagonal plan and a shaped socket stone feature built on top. The shaft is a later Doric column with a ball finial. Listed Grade I. (3) Market Cross. Medieval, 17th and 19th century. Grade I. (4)
