Full Description

[SK 330 265] The 'lost village' of Foremark. (1) No evidence of desertion was seen in the indicated area (2) Foremark is written as "Fornewerche" in Domesday Book. (3) SK 330265: Earthworks of a deserted medieval village are visible at Foremark, close to an isolated church. (4-6) Nothing visible on O.S. air photographs. (7)
