Full Description

There are buildings, along with a gravel pit, at this location on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880, but they are not labelled as a saw mill. (1) By the 2nd edition 25" OS map of c. 1900, there are more buildings at this site, but they are still not labelled as a saw mill until the 3rd edition 25" OS map of the early 20th century. (2, 3) The buildings still appear to be extant on modern OS mapping [2016]. The buildings are still labelled as a saw mill. (4)
