Full Description

Three sides of a rectangular enclosure are identifiable on aerial photographs, the southern boundary possibly truncated by, or running parallel and just inside Arleston Lane. Other linear features may also be visible in the field. (1-2) The cropmarks have been plotted on a map overlay at a scale of 1:10,000. (3) The later prehistoric/Roman rectilinear enclosure was identified during an aerial photographic mapping survey that was carried out in 2009/10, along with a later prehistoric pit alignment and ditch cropmarks of uncertain date.
