Full Description

SK 349373 Strutts Park, Iron Age Pottery. A few sherds of Early Iron Age pottery, mostly unstratified, were found within the probable area of Strutts Park Roman fort during the excavations by Miss J Dool in 1974. This is the first evidence for Early Iron Age occupation in this part of Derby. (1-2)
