Full Description

SK 326316. A Late Neolithic polished flint axe, length 7 1/4 ins. Width at cutting edge 1 3/4 ins., was found whilst digging in a field south-south-east of Hall Pasture Farm and immediately north of Hell Meadow. On loan to Derby Museum (1) The finder is now dead. The axe is retained in Derby Museum (Acc. 167/58). Precise siting not known. (2)
