Full Description

A Neolithic polished stone axe, Group VI (Langdale) was found when digging the garden of 22, Rowsley Avenue, Derby. [Identified from 1/1250 plan - SK 33973 392]. (1) The axe was found in 1947 by Mr Johnson who indicated the site at SK 3398 3392. Now in Derby Museum 337.57. (2)
