Full Description

SK 330 344. An early bronze age stone battle axe, slightly boat shaped, with a central perforation, was found in a garden in Littleover. (1, 2) Late Neolithic stone axe hammer/battle axe; thin sectioned by Sheffield University, Group XIV Camptonite; broken in half when found. Littleover; loans register doesn't record locality. Deposited 1976. (3)
