Full Description

SK 343309. A neolithic flint axe or adze, well worked with secondary working, and polished only at the cutting edge, was found in top soil over clay on the site of the Ashgrove School or on adjacent building land. (1) Neolithic grey flint adze 4.125" x 1 9/16" found on Sinfin Moor, Derby, 17.5.1977 (2)
