Full Description

Iron Age coin found by a man when digging his allotment garden on the Osmaston Park Road estate, forwarded to Manton by the Curator of the Mechanics' Institute, Derby in January 1924. Evans type A II, uninscribed gold stater. (1) Coin as above exhibited by J.O. Manton and described as dug up recently during road construction. (2)
