SK 3255 4693. Probable occupation site with late 2nd to early 3rd century ware. (1)
The area was trenched along a post & wire fence dividing the field, where some surface pottery had been found, and a roughly stone paved section was exposed. For some length pottery fragments had been used to level the area. This probable occupation site yielded "imported" pottery. (2)
Area under grass. The site is probably associated with the adjacent kiln site [SMR 20401]. (SK 34 NW 12). (3)
