Full Description

[SK 32554655] A large amount of medieval pottery has been identified in this area. (1) The area is currently grassed over with nothing visible on the surface. The farmer said the soil in and around the site was very dark, which might suggest the presence of a kiln. (2) No visible remains were identified during survey in August 2008, but a sherd of medieval pottery was identified nearby at SK 3278 4655. (3)
