Full Description

SK 0740 8783: Cluther Rocks, Quern, Millstone Manufacture: Dimensions: Di.= 1.5m (4.5ft), De(centre)= 0.3m (1ft): Flat upperstone to a possibly Romano-British quern, found at Cluther Rocks and reported to Sheffield City Museum on 27.10.1969. Central hole had a diameter of 0.25m (9in.). (1) Millstone manufacturing site. (2)
