Full Description

SK 339 458. A quantity of arrowheads, scrapers etc., found in fields adjoining the Golf Course and Firestone Hill, are now in the County Schools Museum Service. The finds include a barbed and tanged arrowhead, button and concave scrapers and many small blades. (1) The flints were donated to the Museum Service by Mr. Booth in 1942, and are recorded as Early Bronze Age. The area is mainly arable, no other finds were made. (2)
