Full Description

[SK 32954520] A Roman pottery scatter was found in a field south of Sycamore Farm, Hazelwood. About 250 sherds of Derbyshire Ware were recorded during fieldwalking for the Amber Valley Survey by Trent and Peak Archaeology Trust in 1979-80. The main concentration of finds covered about 0.75ha but the pottery, as a whole, was spread over an area measuring about 2ha. (1)
