Full Description

SK 391440. On the brow of the hill to the north of Horsley Lodge, medieval pottery was found consistently over most of the field, inter-mixed with Roman pottery. (1) Romano-British Derbyshire Ware scattered over 1.5ha just below the ridge north east of Horsley Lodge. Daub also found with the pottery concentration.
