Full Description

Remains of a stone quarry at Breadsall (other quarries in the parish are now filled in). (1) Authority 1 gives a grid reference of SK 384418, but no quarry is marked at this location. A disused quarry is shown on modern maps at SK 381417 and is marked as 'Old Quarry' on the 1st ed. 25" OS map of 1880. Possibly this is the quarry referred to. (2)
