Full Description
SK 38354380 New Plantation, Earthwork. A rectangular mound 25 x 15m within the plantation. On the south side a ditch 40m long runs north- west/south-east. This is the line of Lawn Lane (on the tithe map) which was probably the eastern boundary of Horsley Park. On the tithe map of 1844, the 3 fields east of Lawn Lane are marked as Nether Old House Close and Over Old House Close. (1-2)
