SK 3750 5507. A plan drawn in 1655 shows two tenements with adjacent crofts roughly covering an area now occupied by Wingfield Hall and its small wood. Possibly part of the assorting and the 15th century enclosing into fields of the park extension granted to Henry De Heriz (1248-61). (1)
