Monument record MDR4967 - Ridge and furrow and trackway, Amberley Farm, Pentich

Type and Period (2)

Protected Status/Designation

  • None recorded

Full Description

Ridge and furrow in two blocks, one running NW - SE, the other SSW - NNE, was identified from a study of aerial photographs; in addition a possible hollow way or other feature runs N-S: the latter appears to disregard the ridge and furrow and cut across it. (1) Examination of aerial photographs taken in 1999-2002 suggest the features have been ploughed out. (2)
