Full Description

In the churchyard at Wingerworth, opposite to the south porch, is the basement stone of the old cross, having a square socket in the top, for its reception, about eight inches in depth. (1) SK 3831 6742. As authority 1. Plan dimensions 0.65m x 0.75m. Height 0.35m. Surveyed 21/4/60. (2) Located and surveyed at SK 38314 67429. (3)
