Full Description

[SK 3228 7732] Flint borer found by Mr. Bunker, B.A. (1) Mrs. Bunker, B.Sc., of Cartledge Lane, Holmesfield, found the borer in her garden "after a slight mound had been levelled in 1951". She believes this to have been a round barrow and since then has found a loom weight; two antler pieces; two fragments of rough pottery, possibly Ne/EBA; and some overlying medieval pottery. She retains all the finds and indicated the exact site at SK 32252 7733l. (2)
