Full Description

(SK 380766) A Mesolithic/Neolithic site under plough soil was discovered at Unstone during fieldwork undertaken between 1976 and 1978. Listed. (1) SK 381766 Woodsmithies Farm, Mesolithic Flint. Thin flint scatter over the complete field (Field 4, or Site 3). Flint waste of greyish flint, included poor, fine, narrow flaked core of Mesolithic date. (1) See also SK37NE53.
