SK 0572 8073: Partially renewed Village Stocks, Chapel-en-le-Frith (NAT). (1) Village stocks in the Market Place at Chapel-en-le-Frith are of uncertain date. The wooden framework with the stone uprights has been partly renewed. Grade 2* listed (See GP AO/65/112/3). (2-3) Stocks have been refitted with a wooden seat and leg holes. (4)
