Full Description

SK 435380 Fragments of RB Derbyshire ware from a field on Columbine Farm, Ockbrook, which showed dark rings after ploughing. 'A' SK 43603809 - Group of four or more light rings arranged alternately on each side of a central axis. (1-2) The farmer on Columbine farm had no knowledge of the above, and there are no surface indications. The above map references actually fall on the adjacent farm. (3) Significant concentration of Roman pottery collected from area within northern half of field. (4)
