Monument record MDR5481 - Ridge and Furrow, South of Ockbrook Wood

Type and Period (1)

Protected Status/Designation

  • None recorded

Full Description

Ridge and furrow running north-south is evident in an area south of Ockbrook Wood on an aerial photograph of 1996, although it appears to be a crop mark or soil mark, rather than surviving as earthworks. A linear ditch, probably a pipe trench, runs across (cuts) the ridge and furrow east-west just south of the wood. (1)
