Full Description
Fieldwalking by the Ockbrook and Borrowash Historical Society in 1997/98 identified a scatter of Roman and Medieval pottery and other materials. Sherds included 4 Derbyshire Ware, 1 Mortaria, 1 Grey Ware, 2 green glazed, 2 unglazed coarseware and 3 other. Additional material included a quernstone fragment, an iron nail (rectangular section, possibly Roman), 2 flints, and 2 fire cracked pebbles. The materials appeared to be generally spread across the field. (1)
