Full Description
In the yard to the north of Pear Tree House is the remains of an early 19th century cotton doubling factory. Originally this was a four storey building with a pitched tiled roof. The top two floors have been removed and a flat roof superimposed. It stands on the west bank of the Erewash Canal and is now in the occupation of a builder [1986]. (1)
