Full Description

SK 484324 Sawley, Oakland Avenue Hosiery Factory. A single-storey brick-built hosiery factory of c.1930 which manufactured stockings until 1961, since when the premises have been used by precision engineers, Wagstaff & Appleton. (1) Now vacant and likely to be demolished for redevelopment as housing. (2)
