Full Description

SK 469 426 Ilkeston Flour Mill. 19th century brick mill building with slate roof and cast iron window frames, beside former Midland Railway Branch. Built 1887. (1) Brick mill building standing by the now vanished railway branch line. Originally Ilkeston Flour Mill, built in 1887 for W S Adlington. It was gutted by fire in 1912 and has been used for a variety of purposes since then. (2) The building no longer appears on modern OS mapping [2014]. (3)
