Full Description
Two storey foundry buildings, some modern. The works of John Hawthorn Ltd for this century at least. (1)
Canal Foundry (c. 1859). Occupied by John Hawthorne & Co., a family firm of millwrights and engineers. There was a wharf. This building has an interesting doorway on Albion Road. (2)
Iron-framed door and lintel survive. Factory ceased working in 1989. (3)
