Full Description

A Roman road north of Staveley, showing as a parchmark. (1-2) Ground and aerial surveys have located a section of Roman Road preserved in the medieval parkland of Hagge Farm, Staveley. A section cut through the road there revealed three successive surfaces. The present driveway to Hagge Farm incorporates part of the line which continues north east, passing Red Lodge and Marsh Farm. (3)
