Full Description

SK 48287632 Barlborough, Brick and Tile Works. The spoil heaps and clay pits of the 18th and 19th century brick and tile works were visible in early 1977. (1) These appear to be located in the south-east corner of the field between a pond and an abandoned railway line. There are a number of surface indications of building foundations. The pond was probably a clay/water source originally. (2)
