Full Description

SK 495 754 Clowne, ?Roman Road. Part of the supposed route from Templeborough to Broxtowe. The route south takes it via Whiston, Ulley, Kniveton Park and Hartshill before entering Derbyshire north of Clowne on the A618. The route reputedly runs through Scarcliffe and Pleasley before entering Nottinghamshire via Sutton and Kirkby in Ashfield.
