Full Description

[SK 4502 7087] A fragment of Romano-British Derbyshire ware was reported in 1959 to have been found on the surface of the field. [Sited by Authy. on Rec 6"] (1) The site indicated by authority(1) now falls under winter crop. No surface indication of habitation was noted and no additional pottery finds were made. (2) SK 442711. Duckmanton. A few sherds of Romano-British Derbyshire ware were shown to Kay by Mr Thorpe. (The grid reference given in this authority is probably erroneous.) (3)
