Full Description

[Area SK 430 806] There was a large square intrenchment now nearly obliterated by the plough on the slope close under Mosbrough Hall [A/Ps. negative] (1) The area, which is parkland, is much pitted but without definite trace of an earthwork. There is evidence of rig and furrow in the western half of the area. (2) Nothing of archaeological interest seen. (3)
