Full Description

SK 503 672. Two sherds of samiam ware and two of coarse ware were found midway between Roseland Wood and the waterworks, on high ground above the double hedged lane running towards Palterton. (1) Another Romano-British pottery scatter is recorded from the other side of this field. (3) Archaeological History recorded as Field Walk : March D J (15 Lindleys Lane, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Notts, NG17).
