Full Description

SK 50307652 Hickinwood Farm. A perforated sandstone macehead was found by J. Clarke on 01-Aug-1967 in the field south of Hickin Wood. Two polished stone axes were found after deeper ploughing on 08-Mar-1968. A medieval pitcher handle, green-glazed on orange sandy paste textured ware, was also found at around the same time. (1)
