Full Description

SK 50757500 Markland Grips, Field System. Traces of a Celtic-type field system to the south-west of Markland Grips hillfort have been identified from an aerial photograph. There appear to be at least two plots with blocks of fields continuing in front of the rampart. These are on a different alignment to the rampart. (1-2) Cropmarks plotted at a scale of 1:10000. (3)
