Full Description
Possible Romano-British enclosure with entrance causeway from the west. Circular in plan, possible huts inside. On Riley air photograph taken in 1975. (1)
Derbyshire Ware pot sherds, together with Neolithic or Bronze Age flint flakes and an end scraper, collected by C.R. Hart on 25-Mar-1977. (2)
A D-shaped enclosure of Iron Age/Roman date was identified as cropmarks at this location on aerial photographs dating to 1986. Post-medieval ridge and furrow cropmarks were also visible in this field at this time. (3)
